Chairman's Message 2012
Dear all nambries,
Firstly, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to you all those who made it this year that this years nambari party was a successful one. I know there were huge number of nambaries couldn't make it but those who have been so faithful and sincere towards the nambaries have expressed that they all have enjoyed the day. My wife and I too have enjoyed it meeting a lot of old nambari friends whom we have not seen for many years. As the Chairman of the nambary Society, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all my committee members and all those who have contributed their valuable time towards the nambari society for making nambary party huge successful for second consecutive year. Without their support and dedication it would not have been that successful. The food was plenty and delicious which was praised by all. Drinks were sufficient and variety in reasonable price. Entertainment was excellent and interesting more importantly the surprise dance by Dev nambari and Sadhuram nambaris pair dance was an example to all of us. Really appreciated. I personally and on behalf of the society I'd like to thank Jit and Giri nambari for their hard work and Dev and Sadhuram nambari for showing their excellent dance. An accurate accounting by the Treasurer Surya nambari was an excellent effort. In addition he has been busy for purchasing stuff for the party prior to the party and help setting up the venue from the early morning of the day who has been real asset to the nambari society. Again Thanks to Sury nambari for his tireless effort. I can not stay away without thanking to Dr Chandra Lakchhamba nambari who has kindly helped booking the venue and ensured that setting up and clearing up the hall has been properly done. My sincere thanks goes to our beloved ladies who have helped running the Tambola game and managed to raise £290 for the society. Our Web master Prem nambary as usual has used an initiative of displaying of live FA Cup final match between Chelsea and Liverpool during the party in addition to all other usual stuff. Many thanks to him as well. In overall it was a successful party.
