I would like to inform you that I and the Secretary on behalf of the intake 1984 attended the funeral of late numberi Gopalman Gurung (A/No 21166283 - Ex 2/2 GR) yesterday on Saturday 24 January 2015 at Feltham, which was organised by Ghandruk samaj Uk very successfully.
I thank you all those numberies who attended the funeral yesterdays from all around the country. Obviously, I saw a huge number of numberies attended, which is a good support towards the bereaved family (Nirmala bahini and two sons) from our Numberi society. Please keep it up numberi saheb haru!!
Those numberies who couldn't make it due to their work schedule, although they sincerely wanted to attend from the bottom of their heart. Those who could'nt attend don't worry numberi saheb haru, it is the thought that counts.
Now, as per the numberi procedure, we will be collecting the bheti from each numberies. The rate of 'bheti' we are collecting is as follows:
Those numberies who are registered as a member (please see website) will contribute the revised rate of £ 20.00 each. This is the minimum amount that any registered member should contribute. However, if any body wish to exceed this figure then they may do so.
Those numberies who have still not got the chance to register yet may contribute any amount as their wish.
For your information, we have already handed over the cheque of £500.00 to numberi Yam Gurung (66392) as an immediate relief for Nirmala bahini from the numberi fund.
